2026 Trustee Meetings

The Clay Township government operates under the direction of elected members to the Clay Township Board of Trustees and a fiscal officer. Clay Township also has an elected Fiscal Officer who is responsible to oversee and safeguard the township funds. Residents have adopted Limited Self-Government, which allows trustees to enact resolutions, similar to city ordinances, provided they do not conflict with state laws or a list of specific exemptions
